  • Data Analyst with 2+ years of professional experience utilizing a coding language (SQL preferred) and a BI tool (Tableau preferred)
  • A Data professional with a yearning to solve big-picture problems, learn new things, seek answers in data and finds comfort in uncertainty
  • Remote-first opportunity for US-based employees with the option to work in-person out of our Manhattan office
  • At least 2 years of professional data experience, this includes experience with a coding language, SQL preferred, and a BI tool, tableau preferred
  • Experience in product analytics is preferred
  • Comfort in building, maintaining, and fixing end-to-end data products i.e. a dashboard needs to contain a new feature to reflect a change in our product funnel
  • Critical thinking around business questions, when given a task your immediate answer isn't “yes”. Your goal is to not only provide the data being requested but why it's needed to interrogate our databases and bring more useful information forward
  • Be responsible for Zip's data analytics platforms which provide support for all merchant squad functions (including sales, account management, and product)
  • The primary focus of this role is to dive deep into our product to make recommendations for improvement. You will be working closely with product managers to dissect our product, make recommendations, then monitor and measure them
  • Support sales and account management to create compelling stories that are driven by data to attract, engage and retain more merchants
  • Measure business impact with the product team by analyzing new and existing product changes
  • Build and maintain data analytics dashboards managed by the insights analytics team
  • Diagnose vague business problems and translate them into data and actionable steps
