Requirements
  • B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics or related fields
  • 3+ years’ experience with setup, management, and execution of sensor characterization equipment
  • 3+ years’ hands-on laboratory experience with mechanical and electrical hardware bring-up and debug
  • Demonstrated experience with gyroscopes, accelerometers, pressure sensor and/or magnetometer characterization and qualification
  • Experience with statistical analysis using MATLAB, Python or similar programming environments
  • Demonstrated ability for generating high-quality test & characterization reports
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to develop experiments, prototypes, and characterization methodologies for AR/VR systems
  • Design, setup, and run practical experiments on motion sensors such as IMUs, pressure sensors, and magnetometers
  • Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of sensor characterization results
  • Define, architect, design, and drive implementation of scalable test infrastructure
  • Support system bring up and debug activities
