Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain data security profiles to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor security alerts and escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in developing risk assessment scenarios, documenting findings, and supporting incident response procedures.
  • Document and maintain records of security incidents, investigations, response activities, security plans, methodologies, and procedures.
  • Support vulnerability management activities, including reviewing scan results and assisting with remediation efforts.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in enforcing and auditing information security policies, standards, and procedures, including user access management, firewall security oversight, encryption practices, and breach escalation processes.
  • Participate in security audits, compliance reviews, and investigations involving security exceptions or policy violations.
  • Update, maintain, and document security controls, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in developing and documenting risk assessments and security recommendations.
  • Evaluate security tools, products, services, and processes to improve operational efficiency and strengthen the organization's security posture.
  • Provide first-level support to clients and internal IT teams on information security issues and security-related requests.
  • Advise technical staff, system administrators, and business stakeholders on security best practices during the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist with the deployment, configuration, testing, and integration of new security technologies and IT systems.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated into operational processes and technology solutions.
