Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of fixed Gas & Flame Detection market in AMER region and closely aligned markets.
  • Detailed knowledge of Gas Detection & System (Technical & Sales).
  • Basic knowledge to provide first level of service support to customer.
  • Must be able to demonstrate professional field sales record (5+ years) with a proven track record.
  • Proven ability to train and teach internal and external customers.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels both externally and internally.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain effective customer networks.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in business development and lead qualification.
  • Degree Level qualification in sales/engineering/business or associated subject.

Responsibilities
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the fixed gas & flame detection product portfolio via successful completion of required sales and technical training program and utilize this knowledge to promote the products to new and existing customers in the AMER region.
  • Responsible for achieving agreed sales targets for the region by identifying sales opportunities in new and existing markets to meet or exceed business growth objectives.
  • Build strong business relationships with distributors in AMER region. Manage and assess the performance of existing distributors. Identify and target new distribution partners for fixed gas & flame detection in the region.
  • Identify key end user accounts in the territory and implement sales plan to support direct / via distributor selling structure to achieve sale growth.
  • Meet regularly with existing customers and distributors and prospects in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs.
  • Prepare customer specific business plan.
  • Attend sales meetings and exhibitions in AMER and internationally as part of the AMER Sales team.
  • Conduct sales presentations, customer training and seminars.
  • Daily use of our CRM, ERP and other IT tools (in order to provide customer information, forecasts and reports)
  • Work effectively with other internal departments: Marketing, Inside Sales & Customer Service, Field Service, Product Management, and Application Engineering.
  • Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote the group product solutions and brands.
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information on weekly basis.
