Requirements
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Have an educational background in business or food science.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all documents from each production run and production line are accounted for and collected during each shift.
  • Create a package containing all processing documents for each product run, from mixing through the final packaged product.
  • Ensure that submitted documentation is clear, concise, correct, and complete.
  • Mark required corrections for submitted documentation and identify the responsible parties.
  • Track reports and deviations and complete a monthly summary to trend findings.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure that quality and food safety expectations are met and understood.
  • Ensure proper documentation is submitted for regular, customer-specific, organic, and allergen changeovers, and complete related document and deviation tracking.
  • Ensure that pre-operational documentation is submitted for each department and shift, complete related tracking, and follow up with maintenance on corrective measures noted during inspections.
  • Collect and review quality audit reports, ensure they are signed by the appropriate auditor, and file them.
  • Review Certificates of Analysis for incoming ingredients against product specification standards.
  • Track palm oil used in the facility in the designated Palm Oil Tracker.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, mock recalls, traceability activities, and HACCP nonconformance verification.
  • Review receiving records, flour tailing records, personnel verification, pre-operational shipping and receiving records, loading inspection checklists, peanut testing logs, sharp tool records, ingredient storage temperature records, meeting records, and transfer receiving records.
  • File bills of lading, sanitation records, transfer orders, pre-shift inspection records, driver access controls, and container switch files.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
