Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • One year of experience in student affairs work or a related specialty is required.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
  • Ability to review operational and special reports and maintain the confidentiality of student records and reports.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate administrative support functions for the Aggie Honor System Office.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of administrative operations.
  • Develop and evaluate office procedures; monitor, explain, and apply office procedures and policies, and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Plan and provide logistical and administrative support for events, meetings, hearings, and other special functions.
  • Prepare notices or agendas for meetings.
  • Adapt, combine, and improve services, processes, and programs.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements and administrative changes.
  • Provide feedback to the supervisor regarding reporting needs.
  • Assist in resolving complex, sensitive, and confidential administrative matters.
  • Perform advanced word processing, desktop publishing, and data management activities.
  • Research, interpret, and compile data and information in support of departmental initiatives.
  • Draft, review, and finalize information for brochures, pamphlets, reports, and online resources for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Coordinate Aggie Honor System Office hearings and investigations for assigned cases.
  • Serve as a case presenter to Honor Council hearing panels for assigned cases.
  • Monitor and maintain complex, technical, and confidential case files assigned by the Director for cases received from designated colleges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for individuals and stakeholders and respond to inquiries about Aggie Honor System Office policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary resource for students, faculty, and staff regarding policies governing the Aggie Honor System Office.
  • Coordinate and liaise with departments to promote academic integrity initiatives.
  • Develop and coordinate communication with Human Resources and transportation, promoting compliance within the department and broader university community.
  • Coordinate office supply orders and work with support staff and the Director on purchasing orders.
  • Collect data and provide support to office staff members.
  • Make recommendations for new initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree.
  • Experience in higher education, student conduct administration, facilitating student conduct processes, or a similar area.
