Requirements
  • A law degree and qualification as an Avvocato or equivalent are required.
  • Three to five years of experience in a law firm or in-house environment are required, ideally focused on contract law, commercial law, and digital business models.
  • The candidate must work independently, in a structured and precise manner, with strong communication skills and a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset.
  • The candidate must have a collaborative approach and an interest in working with international teams in a multicultural environment.
  • The candidate must have a creative, solution-driven approach to developing legal frameworks for new business models, with a solid understanding of commercial and technical contexts.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all legal matters concerning the Italian business, supporting operational teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Procurement, and Information Technology.
  • Own contractual and commercial law topics by drafting, reviewing, and updating agreements in Italian and English across the digital marketplace ecosystem, including partnership agreements, content and marketing contracts, information technology and service agreements, and agency and consultancy contracts.
  • Support the business and Finance teams in negotiations where needed.
  • Act as a strategic legal partner to business teams launching and developing new digital products and services in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Collaborate with the global Legal Department in Munich to align local Italian legal processes with group-wide standards while contributing Italian market insights and best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional and international projects with Legal colleagues and other stakeholders across the Group.
  • Coordinate and optimize legal processes with internal stakeholders and external partners, including law firms, authorities, and business partners.
  • Support GDPR and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Support bad debt recovery from a legal perspective.

It differentiates itself by offering a large, pan-European inventory combined with dealer marketing solutions and a dual channel for private and professional sellers, supported by an ecosystem of related automotive platforms. Its goal is to enable efficient, large-scale vehicle transactions online by giving buyers broad choice and giving sellers a strong channel to connect with customers while generating revenue from listings, advertising, and services.

Fitch Ratings reports that Speedster Bidco GmbH (AutoScout24; AS24) has added a €250 million fully fungible add-on to its first-lien senior secured debt, raising leverage above the 7.0x EBITDA threshold. Despite this, the Issuer Default Rating and ‘B+' senior secured debt rating remain unchanged, as leverage is expected to return to acceptable levels by 2027. The funds will repay the revolving credit facility used to acquire AutoTrack and Gaspedaal in the Netherlands.
