Requirements
  • 5+ years in marketing retention and/or engagement programs or related marketing or field in a SAAS company
  • 2+ years serving as a people manager with track record for to supporting, leading and inspiring team members
  • Experience producing learning curriculum or other educational assets for customers in virtual event and/or webinar format
  • Experience managing a user group program at a SAAS company ideal
  • Passion for working with customers, creating connections, understanding their business needs to build partnership
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal. Comfortable presenting to small groups and larger events and able to connect with Smartsheet daily users all the way up to our most senior executive clients
  • Multi-lingual also ideal but not required - in either French, German or Japanese
  • Creative, flexible, and naturally curious individual always looking for ways to improve our programs
  • Strong analytical skills able to identify key performance indicators and report on trends and insights
  • Excellent work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast moving environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Create overall strategy for customer engagement events to support industries, verticals, regions, sales and channel/partners
  • Manage and mentor team to plan and produce virtual product and solution training to support product and feature releases, increase usage and adoption
  • Manage and mentor team to guide user group strategy and execute 100+ user groups - virtual and in-person across the US
  • Develop plan to ramp in-person user groups in important markets in the US
  • Partner with colleagues in EMEA and APAC to support strategy ensure consistency and continuity of engagement programs globally
  • Manage partner/channel relationships and lead user group participation in EMEA, APAC and other regions
  • Manage and grow the Mobilizer program in the US and expand into key regions/languages to support empowering customers to grow Smartsheet within their organizations
  • Develop key metrics and reporting mechanisms to understand the impact of engagement programs including retention, expansion and influenced revenue
  • Partner with product marketing, corporate events, sales, customer success, and learning center colleagues to gain understanding and lead programs that help exceed our marketing goals and objectives
  • Mentor and grow team members to help them reach their best potential at Smartsheet
