Financial Analyst

Group Summary:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with costing functions, preparing analysis of financial and operating information, performing month-end accounting functions (journal entries, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations), and managing intercompany accounts.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Perform Fixed Asset / Tooling Accounting
• Labor Variance Analysis and reporting
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis to discover trends and patterns
• Sales invoicing and reconciliations
• Backup Accounting Staff as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minimum of five years accounting experience
• Must be experienced with computerized accounting systems and proficient in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written skills with a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information
• Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
• Work scheduled includes working a minimum of 45 hours per week.
