Responsibilities
  • Coordination and oversight of 3rd party service providers (e.g. Caceis, Allfunds, iCapital, Clearstream) to ensure client obligations are met and that cross-party processes are functioning as expected and mutual SLAs are being executed upon
  • Regional operational support for Global Wealth clients, including pre-sale support, end-to-end onboarding and post-sale service
  • Serve as Europe client service support across Global Wealth clients to ensure coordinated and consistent white-glove client service
  • Focus on providing on the ground client support in Europe while also maintaining strong connectivity with global team and leveraging their expertise and institutional knowledge (e.g., information sharing, best practices)
  • Partner closely with, and be accountable to, Global Wealth Europe Sales team
  • Support existing team members to coordinate the pre-onboarding process in close partnership with sales professionals for Global Wealth clients including ensuring requisite connectivity is in place with respective clients and their 3rd party service providers (e.g. Caceis, Allfunds, iCapital, S64, Clearstream)
  • Assist with project management of Global Wealth client onboarding process in coordination with Global Wealth Advisor Services, including but not limited to: distribution agreements, oversight of 3rd party service providers (e.g. Caceis, Allfunds, iCapital, S64, Clearstream) and coordination across numerous Apollo teams (e.g. compliance, legal, fund controllers) to execute onboarding
  • Service the operational and home office contacts at financial intermediaries and distribution partners from a pre and post sales perspective
  • Manage subscription and redemption process and queries for perpetual funds as well as manage capital call notice follow ups for draw-down funds
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for information across a variety of Apollo products
  • Act as a point of contact for European wealth distributors enquiries on Apollo products lifecycle, maintain 3rd party service provider relationships (e.g. Caceis Allfunds, iCapital, S64, Clearstream) and Apollo internal and external stakeholders to formulate appropriate response on a timely basis
  • Provide support to sales team members through the whole servicing lifecycle, from prospect to client
  • Maintain and update internal and external static data (Apollo databases, FE Fundinfo, Allfunds etc)
  • Support on various projects as needed, including preparation and coordination of responses
  • Assist with onboarding new products, detailing operational set up
  • Assist with preparation of board reports, KPI generation and updating additional report items
  • Assist with preparation of fund specific dealing calendars
  • Oversee trailer fee process
  • Actively seek operational improvements and contribute to process enhancements to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency

Apollo invests $186.5M in Crestyl's Polish expansion through Spravia

Crestyl's Polish subsidiary Spravia has secured €165 million in financing from funds managed by Apollo Global Management, with Griffin Capital Partners participating as a minority co-investor. The funding will support Crestyl's expansion in Poland and strengthen Spravia's position in the Polish residential market. Spravia, operating since 1999 and wholly owned by Crestyl since 2023, is among Poland's larger residential developers, with operations in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk and Gdynia. The company has completed nearly 25,000 residential units to date. Apollo partner Edward Jones highlighted strong potential in the Polish market and confidence in the group's long-term growth prospects. Crestyl has operated in Central European real estate for nearly 30 years, developing projects in both Poland and the Czech Republic.

Apollo takes control of European paper manufacturer Lecta, wiping $448M debt

Lecta, one of Europe's largest paper manufacturers and owner of Torraspapel, has completed its restructuring after US private equity firm Apollo took full control alongside funds Cheyne and Tikehau. The European Commission authorised the deal on 10 March. The restructuring eliminates €400 million in debt and separates Lecta's four business units—fine paper, self-adhesives, distribution and specialities—protecting each from potential problems in other divisions. The Luxembourg-based company operates six factories across Spain and Italy. The restructuring comes amid declining global paper demand. Lecta recently sold its French factory, Condat, to Canada's SPB Group after seeking judicial protection for the unit in October. CEO Gilles Van Nieuwenhuyzen said the new structure will enable more agile decision-making and closer customer relationships.
