Join Our Multi-Disciplinary Team to Make a Difference!
We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality, trauma-sensitive, person-centered, and recovery-oriented care to those in crisis. As part of our team, you will be responsible for offering direct or indirect nursing services, including:
- Conducting nursing assessments and evaluations
- Creating and executing individualized care plans
- Providing health education and case management
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments
- Ensuring the effective delivery of crisis services in alignment with state laws

Job Type/Salary:
- 8 hour or 12 hour shifts available
- Annual Salary Options:
- Level III: $76,500/$36.78 hourly
- Level II: $72,500/$34.86 hourly
- Level I: $70,000/$33.65 hourly
- PLUS, Stacking Shift Differentials: $3.00 for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Total Compensation Package: $71,000-$91,000, depending on number of covered dependents
- Includes up to 7% 401k match, 15 days annual leave AND 15 days sick leave per year, and a great benefits allowance that allows you to choose excellent state benefits at little to no cost!
- Primary Working Hours are:
- 6:30a – 3p (Day Shift),
- 2:30p -11p (Evening Shift)
- 10:30p – 7a (Overnight)
- 12-hour shifts are 7 to 7!
- Non-Exempt - OT Available!
- Full-time or part-time/PRN available
- Posted until filled
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Level III – Bachelor’s in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLC and one year of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience
- Level II – Bachelor’s in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLC OR Associate in Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience
- Level I – Associate in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLC.
Note:eNLC refers to the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact. If the applicant has an out of state license with eNLC, s/he cannot be in a position that bills.

Special Requirements:
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

About us: Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is located in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as a Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for adults. Griffin Memorial Hospital is a 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital serving persons aged 18 and over with severe mental illness and provides in-patient hospital care for those in need of mental health & substance abuse services.
