Requirements
  • Strong interest in finance, accounting, and business operations.
  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Studying towards a recognised finance qualification (e.g. ACCA, AAT, or CIMA)
Responsibilities
  • Process invoices, staff expenses, and manage approval workflows
  • Manage the mailbox and manage queries from suppliers, customers and internal departments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records
  • Intercompany reconciliations, journal postings, supplier reconciliations, support month end process
  • Setup regular payment runs in the bank
  • Assist with financial reporting and chasing overdue client invoices
  • Support the finance team on ad hoc tasks and project work
  • Manage contractor lifecycle: IR35 status, contracts, timesheets, and invoicing profiles
  • Liaise with clients' HR teams for onboarding, IT setup, and reporting
  • Coordinate timesheet and contractor data for scheduled payments
  • Communicate with umbrella companies/agencies to ensure proper setup and payment
  • Oversee PO management for contract and permanent roles
  • Submit monthly bordereaux for Outside IR35 contractors to insurers
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, facilities, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all service arrangements
  • Build and manage effective working relationships across teams and external partners

  • Prior experience in a finance-related role is beneficial but not essential
