Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience estimating and selling Division 5 miscellaneous metals or structural steel projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare competitive bids and win work.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, takeoffs, and fabrication.
  • Experience with Southern California contractor relationships is highly preferred.
  • Ability to build a book of business in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
  • Estimate and bid Division 5 miscellaneous metals projects.
  • Review plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Develop relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.
  • Pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing and close awarded projects.
  • Work closely with engineering and production to ensure successful project execution.
  • Visit customers and jobsites throughout Southern California.
