- An active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 11 years of experience designing, maintaining, and modernizing secure, scalable enterprise applications.
- Hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure optimization, scalability, enterprise software architecture, cloud-native development, backend development, frontend engineering, database engineering, security engineering, workflow and business logic engines, application programming interface and systems integration, data engineering and analytics, automation, and DevOps.
- Experience migrating legacy, multi-tenant applications to the cloud while maintaining security posture, meeting strict uptime requirements, and significantly improving user experience.
- Understanding of standards such as OSCAL.
- Expert-level command of the English language, orally and in writing, with experience interacting effectively at the chief information officer and chief information security officer levels of large organizations.
- Expert-level organizational skills and the ability to keep multiple tasks and projects on track with minimal supervision.
- Provide technical, thought, and people leadership in the redesign, development, maintenance, and modernization of a large, multi-tenant legacy software application, including hands-on development support as needed.
- Resolve particularly complex technical issues and provide innovative technical solutions to environmental constraints and challenges.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to support activities throughout the entire software development life cycle.
- Ensure attainment of all service-level agreements and service-level objectives in accordance with the quality assurance surveillance plan.
- Mentor cross-functional development team members to achieve collective success.
- Work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing conditions.
- Exercise originality, creativity, and initiative while requiring minimal supervision.
- High-level application development and cybersecurity certifications.
- Specific experience with JCAM, eMASS, Xacta, Archer, or similar cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance tools.
