Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree; I&D and/or IDI certification a plus
  • Minimum of 5-7 years progressively responsible experience in talent and/or leadership development with a DEIB focus
  • Experience in leading/implementing DEIB strategies

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Insightful Inclusion Council (IIC), consisting of 4 cross functional sub-teams, to ensure we are successfully meeting 84.51°'s DEIB deliverables as laid out in our roadmap
  • Act as program manager for major initiatives related to DEIB roadmap including but not limited to:
  • Ensuring unconscious bias, inclusive leader & related mitigations are being integrated into key HR practices (interviewing, onboarding, leadership programs, promotion, performance feedback, calibration, talent reviews, policies etc.) and business compliance
  • Partner with HR Talent team to identify, document and bring to life behaviors in our Leadership model that speak to what an inclusive leader demonstrates and how to measure it
  • Support and guide the recruitment team to help create a brand, supported by recruitment practices, that appeals to diverse applicants and removes bias
  • Partner with the IIC & People Analytics to design and implement metrics, surveying, monitoring and reporting to effectively benchmark organizational progress and ensure appropriate accountability is in the right places, as follows:
  • Act as a catalyst for leveraging diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging to drive sustainable growth and opportunity. This will allow us to track progress against our key declarations (diversity progress, inclusion progress, belongingness)
  • Develop and maintain recurring reports to measure success, glean insights and incorporate into future plans and initiatives; track and regularly communicate results at the senior leadership level
  • Steer and ensure best practice and consistency across our collective voluntary, employee-led groups with an aim to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace
  • Review current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder the company's diversity goals
  • Key stakeholder in building and sustaining relationships with key external organizations (including Historically Black Colleges and Universities - HBCUs) as well as other key business. organizations/associations to ensure 84.51° remains a recognized environment for diverse talent
  • Be a leading voice/communicator for inclusiveness at 84.51°, communicating effectively and regularly with internal and external audiences, showing 84.51°'s commitment to this work
  • Act as internal research and content consultant to leadership so the organization can achieve their DEIB objectives
  • Manage and own DEIB content for 84.51°, including the DEIB learning paths/communities on 84.51° Career Center
  • Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
