Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Airframe and Powerplant License
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Heavy Maintenance
  • Minimum 3 years of experience on A320 aircraft
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing direct reports
  • Completion of A320 General Familiarization Course
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to travel 75% – 80%
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to obtain airport SIDA badge
  • Exercise privileges of certificates for at least 6 months in the previous 24 months
  • Ability to read and understand aircraft maintenance manuals
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision of aircraft induction and heavy maintenance activities
  • Act as primary point of contact between Allegiant Air and maintenance providers
  • Monitor workmanship and materials used during maintenance
  • Coordinate with various Allegiant Air departments
  • Manage reporting of service provider’s performance
  • Review and analyze provider invoices
  • Provide financial approval on non-routine costs
  • Supervise vendors and maintain proper completion of aircraft records
  • Sign work records and act as liaison between vendor and records department
  • Provide written authorization for aircraft to return to service
  • Verify and monitor all regulatory documents
  • Identify and recommend changes to the Maintenance Program
  • Assist in developing heavy maintenance plan for each aircraft check visit
  • Ensure heavy maintenance visits comply with regulations and policies
  • Coordinate with regulatory inspectors for aircraft inspections
  • Review aircraft records and prepare induction records
  • Ensure Allegiant Air parts are received and used correctly
  • Accomplish various inspections as necessary
  • Display effective communication skills
  • Model Allegiant's customer service standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
