Responsibilities
  • Technical leadership in software design and development of large scope and complex software projects
  • Technical leadership in identifying and implementing the best-in-class systems software development processes, methods, tools, and standards
  • Technical leadership with cross-functional and software teams to identify user needs and develop product requirements, system requirements/specifications, software requirements/specifications, software architecture/design specifications and implementation
  • Mentor software developers and provides technical guidance as necessary
  • Works with senior leadership/management, cross-functional key stakeholders, and software team to deliver the top-quality software designs and work products on time
  • Works with senior leadership/management, cross-functional key stakeholders, and software team to develop and maintain the software group’s technology roadmap
  • Work with and provide technical leadership to other development engineers, lab technicians, and test engineers
  • Ensure adherence to product specifications, industry standards, and quality and regulatory procedures and requirements
  • Create innovative technical solutions which lead to the development and introduction of new technologies, products, and processes that support ongoing business objectives
