Requirements
  • Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • A Minimum of 5 years in ASIC verification in the area of enterprise storage/networking.
  • Expertise in Hardware Verification Language [HVL] and Hardware Verification Methodology (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM) with strong understanding of ASIC Design and Verification flow.
  • Knowledge of NVMe over Fabrics standards and technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with coverage, gate/timing/power simulations & test-plan documentation is required.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading global teams.
  • Excellent people management skills, including experience in cross-cultural team dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, capable of effectively coordinating and leading a global team, and articulating complex technical issues in a clear manner.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and methodical approach.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a diverse, global team of ASIC verification engineers, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of verification strategies for ASICs in the area of NVMe over Fabrics, leveraging your extensive experience in networking and storage.
  • Provide technical leadership in the verification of complex ASIC designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications in the NVMe over Fabrics domain.
  • Manage the team to execute comprehensive gate-level simulations, including timing and power analysis, to validate the ASIC design before tape-out.
  • Manage the team to deliver detailed coverage metrics to assess the thoroughness of the test suite. Offer actionable feedback to test writers and design engineers, focusing on identifying gaps and suggesting enhancements to elevate test effectiveness and broaden coverage scope.
  • Reproduce lab HW test environment issues using simulations. Provide insights and solutions to complex hardware-software interaction problems.
  • Work closely with Firmware teams to conduct Co-simulations, ensuring seamless integration and functionality between hardware and firmware components.
  • Oversee and contribute to FPGA build environments, ensuring that verification processes are robust and efficient.
  • Navigate and manage cultural differences within the global team, promoting a cohesive and productive work culture.
  • Uphold the highest standards of verification quality. Initiate and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and effectiveness, adapting to the nuances of a global team.
  • Mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs and opportunities for growth. Build a pipeline of future leaders within the team.
