  • 10+ years' experience in financial services industry with IT risk, audit or technology operations knowledge/experience

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance execution of audit coordination of all IT related audits, supporting the auditees with any necessary pre-audit preparation and training, ongoing engagement during audit fieldwork, and engagement throughout the audit closure and report issuance
  • Provide GTS Executive Management with line of sight into ongoing and upcoming technology-related audits, ensuring appropriate awareness and engagement throughout the lifecycle of each audit
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate issues identified by Corporate Audit and to draft Management Actions (remediation responses) for all valid issues
  • Govern Global Technology Issues ensuring adherence to the Global Issues Management Standard and promoting a culture of accountability and ownership related to remediation of issues
  • Facilitate Issues Oversight Forum (IOF) meetings, chaired by the CIO, to improve visibility and awareness into ongoing remediation of Issues, promote accountability and improve timely closure of issues
  • Provide clear Issues-related reporting to key stakeholders, including GTS Executive Management and various boards and committees, including but not limited to, the Technology Risk Committee, the Issues Oversight Forum, the Cyber Risk Committee and the Identity and Access Management Council
  • Consult with GTS strategic initiative owners and Policy and Standards owners regarding best practices for new issue creation mandates
  • Participate in enterprise Issues Management Steering Committee and associated working groups to represent and advocate for GTS interests and requirements with regard to the Issues Management Standard and the implementation of the Issues Management module in the Archer Governance Risk and Compliance platform
  • Represent GTS at various State Street Legal Entity Board Meetings to provide updates on remediation progress related to key open issues
  • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship building skills in interactions stakeholders across the organization including executive management, enterprise risk, and internal audit
  • Build and maintain a global staff with required expertise and skills to effectively facilitate audit-related activities and issues governance in line with professional standards, industry practices and regulatory expectations
  • Demonstrate a risk excellence tone at the top and manage talent development
  • Develop a strong understanding and subject matter expertise in State Street business and system processes
  • Deliver clear and meaningful reports, presentations, and other materials for Executive Management and Governance Committees and Boards.
