- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
- 4+ years of professional work experience
- Hands-on experience in testing Ethernet products and troubleshooting issues
- Experience with PCB Design tools (Altium preferred)
- Experience using lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, E-loads, VNA, TDR, and spectrum analyzer)
- Experience using IxNetwork or TTworkbench
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline (Bonus)
- Systems and networking foundational knowledge (systems architecture, memory hierarchy, storage subsystems, LANs, routing) (Bonus)
- Experience with Ethernet switching chipsets (i.e. Broadcom, Marvell), TCP/IP, L2/L3 etc (Bonus)
- Familiarity with IEEE 802.3x Ethernet standards and both NRZ and PAM-4 signaling (Bonus)
- Common bus protocols (SPI, I2C, MDIO) (Bonus)
- Process/Tool Familiarity with Requirement-Test Case management tools (Polarion preferred) (Bonus)
- Ubuntu operating system and Command Line Interface (Bonus)
- Python scripting (Bonus)
- Atlassian software products (Jira/Confluence) (Bonus)
- Test Execution
- Perform switch and ethernet cards validation
- Conduct functional testing, compliance testing, performance testing, environmental and reliability testing
- Test Infrastructure Development
- Develop custom test assets, set-ups and python scripts to enable efficient testing
- Facilitate complex test infrastructure projects by working with procurement and suppliers to setup chambers and equipment with non-trivial utility requirements
- Documentation
- Draft and present Test Plans, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Data Reviews
- Review and consult on documentation release for standards, design, and risk assessments
