Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 3 years of human resources experience, including at least 1 year in a business partner or human resources manager role, is required.
  • Strong experience coaching, influencing, and partnering with people managers is required.
  • Proficiency in employee relations, performance management, and human resources program delivery is required.
  • Proficiency in managing and interpreting human resources data, including experience with human resources information systems and related technologies, is required.
  • Ability to balance hands-on operational support with program execution is required.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and sophisticated decision-making is required.
  • Strong organization and project management skills are required.
  • Proficiency in various Microsoft platforms is required.
  • Ability to work on-site at least one day per week in the Decatur office is required.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Human Resources Director to align and execute talent strategies and organizational design initiatives within assigned business groups.
  • Partner with and coach leaders across human resources programs and processes, including performance management, associate relations, organizational design and effectiveness, and career development.
  • Support day-to-day human resources needs, including onboarding, employee engagement, and handling sensitive employee situations.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of human resources policies, programs, and processes across assigned business functions.
  • Deliver and adapt enterprise human resources programs, including performance management, compensation cycles, career development, talent reviews, and learning and development, for assigned groups.
  • Act as the connector between people managers and Human Resources Centers of Excellence, including Talent, Total Rewards, Associate Relations, and Human Resources Operations, to ensure programs are consistent and locally relevant.
  • Provide actionable feedback to Human Resources Centers of Excellence on human resources programs and policies, partnering with business leaders and human resources business partners to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate human resources data and ensure human resources processes are executed consistently to support business and human resources objectives.
  • Provide guidance on organizational changes, role design, and workforce planning.
  • Lead and participate in strategic talent initiatives aligned with the Human Resources Director and broader human resources strategy.
  • Lead or leverage a consistent reporting cadence and use data analysis to understand trends and themes across the business.
  • Champion Acuity's culture and values and ensure managers embed them in daily leadership practices.
