Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develops, manages, and executes effective digital media plans for units/colleges across the university that meet and exceed client advertising related business goals
  • Routinely works in collaboration with marketers across the university to provide sound digital media recommendations, test and optimize strategies across various platforms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the effective execution of each plan
  • Directly involved in campaign set-up, routing of assets through the appropriate approval process, conducting quality assurance, and performance reporting
  • Responsible for the documentation and maintenance of all final creative in a university-wide ad library that is shared with executive leadership
  • Focuses on ongoing campaign management, leads calls/meetings with each unit to present media plan recommendations, metrics, and performance, and provide detailed meeting minutes to all meeting attendees to ensure follow up items are documented, and action items are assigned
  • Builds and maintains media plan flowcharts and/or presentations
  • Executes digital media campaigns for multiple units including pay per click (PPC) search and social across Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, Bing as well as site direct buys
  • Understands, sets up, and manages new and existing Paid Search and Social campaign components including, but not limited to, ad copy, bid prices, cost per conversion, cost per click, keyword research, attribution, etc.
  • Optimizes PPC self-serve campaigns against KPIs such as lead volume, site traffic, reach, CPA, CPM, viewability or offline results
  • Makes strategic recommendations for testing and optimizations to improve performance for the client/unit and internal teams on an ongoing basis
  • Sets up campaigns for appropriate ad and conversion tracking in vendor platforms, brand safety, CRM, and analytics tools
  • Reports campaign performance by preparing decks and/or other reports from multiple tracking and analytics sources
  • Stays current with industry trends and best practices
  • Manages and maintains vendor relationships including methodology and product roadmaps of each platform
  • Takes the leading role in the monthly invoicing process with both the media vendors and the individual units
  • Partners with multiple colleagues to coordinate complex timelines and workflows
  • Coordinates and manages production calendars to ensure creative is developed and deadlines are met and works in conjunction with the creative services and production coordinators to route creative through necessary approvals

Desired Qualifications
  • Google Analytics/Ads and Blueprint Certifications
  • Experience working for an organization who specializes in integrated CX plans, serving as a facilitator and/or providing training on paid search ads and marketing on Google
