ParentSquare expands ParentSquare Intelligence for back to school with AI Assistant for school websites and AI Conversation Starters. Aug 20, 2026, 09:00 ET SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - ParentSquare, the leading family engagement infrastructure for K-12 districts, today announced two ParentSquare Intelligence capabilities arriving for back to school: AI Assistant for Smart Sites and Conversation Starters. Both continue the expansion of ParentSquare Intelligence, the AI and data intelligence layer introduced in March that embeds actionable insights and automation across the company's unified school-home engagement platform. AI Assistant gives families, staff, and community members instant, self-serve answers directly on a district's website. The assistant lets visitors type a question and receive a direct answer pulled from the district's own site content, including information in PDFs and images that standard search tools cannot see. It supports 190+ languages, so nearly everyone can get answers in their home language. Whether someone is new to the district or just looking for important dates at 9 p.m., they get a fast, accurate answer on the spot instead of waiting until the next morning to call the front office. Built-in analytics show districts what visitors are actually asking, surfacing content gaps and helping communications teams keep improving the website for both their current community and prospective families. Districts can customize the AI Assistant's name and avatar, or use the default branding out of the box and personalize it later with zero extra lift required. Conversation Starters help connect school and home by turning everyday classroom updates into meaningful conversations at the dinner table or on the ride home. When a teacher shares a post, ParentSquare Intelligence automatically generates relevant questions based on the content, turning a school update into a real discussion. For a post about a class science experiment, a family might see "What did your class test in the experiment today?" followed by "What surprised you about the results?" Teachers review the suggested prompts and can edit or remove them before publishing, and families receive them in their preferred language. The questions are open-ended, not quiz questions: a specific starting point for the kind of everyday moment research links to stronger attendance, motivation, and academic outcomes. "Back to school is when families form their first impression of their school district. These capabilities help districts start the year strong, with clear answers for every family and simple ways to keep the conversation going at home. That is the promise of ParentSquare Intelligence: practical intelligence embedded in the tools schools already use every day," said Anupama Vaid, President and Founder of ParentSquare. AI Assistant and Conversation Starters join Contactability(TM) Benchmark, AI Rewrite, and AI Alt Text as part of ParentSquare Intelligence, with additional capabilities across communication, attendance, payments, and websites planned throughout the 2026-2027 school year. ParentSquare named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of america's fastest-growing private companies for the fourth consecutive year. The company ranks No. 788, climbing 174 spots on this year's list SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 11, 2026 - ParentSquare, the leading family engagement infrastructure for K-12 districts, has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. ParentSquare holds the No. 788 spot this year, climbing 174 places from 2025, and joins a list whose past honorees include Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle, and Patagonia. Four consecutive appearances on the list track a clear shift in how districts connect with families: away from scattered point solutions and toward one unified foundation for reaching and involving every family. ParentSquare serves schools and districts reaching more than 22 million students nationwide, bringing messaging, websites, attendance solutions, forms, and payments together in one platform, with two-way translation into 190+ languages and powerful tools for achieving 100% contactability. This year, ParentSquare expanded that foundation with ParentSquare Intelligence, purpose-built AI that helps schools and districts communicate more effectively. ParentSquare Intelligence features analyze communication, engagement, and attendance to surface actionable insights and recommended next steps within the workflows staff already use. Every feature is optional, off by default, and turned on at the district level, so districts stay in control of what they adopt. "Being named to the Inc. 5000 for the fourth consecutive year is an honor, and it signals something bigger than our own growth," says Anupama Vaid, President and Founder of ParentSquare. "Districts are investing in family engagement as core infrastructure, and they are choosing a partner built for schools and designed for families. Our growth means more schools can reach every family, in any language, and that connection is what drives student success." "Every company on the Inc. 5000 has a story of perseverance, smart decision making, and a refusal to sit still," says Mike Hofman, Editor-in-Chief of Inc. "Their growth reflects more than strong financial performance - it reflects creativity, resilience, and the customer focus required to build companies that make a lasting impact." Inc. will celebrate honorees at the 2026 Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala, taking place October 14 to 16 in Dallas, Texas. ParentSquare introduces expanded payment capabilities for one districtwide view of payments across every school. SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 4, 2026 - ParentSquare, the leading family engagement infrastructure for K-12 districts, today announced centralized reporting, a new capability within ParentSquare Pay that gives district administrators a unified view of payment activity and account management across every school in their district. Historically, districts have had little visibility into money collected at the school level. Payments came in as cash, checks, and through a patchwork of online tools - each handled school by school - leaving finance teams without a district-wide picture of what was collected and where. ParentSquare Pay began moving school payments online, and centralized reporting now extends this visibility to the district level so finance teams can see, reconcile, and manage payments across every school in one place. With centralized reporting, administrators have access to a single screen to view, filter, sort, and export payment activity for all schools. A new payouts report shows all deposits made from ParentSquare Pay into district bank accounts, so finance teams can complete reconciliation without cross-referencing a separate payment processing system. As part of the redesigned navigation experience, the account management process has been similarly streamlined. A centralized account management view now shows the status of every payment account in the district at once, helping teams catch configuration gaps or inactive accounts before they affect collections. Large districts can also use a new bulk setup workflow to configure payment accounts for all schools in a single session. For Sunnybrook School District 171 in Illinois, ParentSquare Pay has already improved how payments are collected and reported. "Payments happen in the place families are already engaged, and going cashless has given us financial visibility we never had before," said Mike McGowan, District Technology Director at Sunnybrook School District 171. Centralized reporting scales these workflows by giving finance teams a single district-wide view for reconciling and managing payment activity across every school. "Schools have always collected money in a dozen different ways, and districts were left piecing the picture together after the fact," said Anupama Vaid, President and Founder of ParentSquare. "As we continue building on the powerful combination of communications and payments, our goal is to give finance teams one clear view of every school so they can spend less time reconciling and more time on the students that money supports." Centralized reporting is available now to all districts with ParentSquare Pay. To learn more about ParentSquare Pay, visit parentsquare.com/platform/payments. About parentsquare.
