  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related engineering field or Master's degree from an accredited university or college in applied science, physics, or mathematics, with at least 10 years of experience in RCS relevant military programs.
  • Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role requires the individual to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
  • Creating and maintaining standard work within the lab spaces to ensure reliable, repeatable and accurate measurements.
  • Provide professional guidance and mentoring to existing engineers.
  • Interprets internal and external program challenges and recommends best practices to improve EM, IR, and RCS measurement techniques and production throughput.
  • Presents relevant EM, IR, and RCS test solutions and future growth concepts to leaders.
  • Will develop and own the technology roadmap related to the growth and expansion of novel measurement techniques in both research and development and production relevant environments.
  • Must establish a strong bond between Supply Chain and Signature Test to build out world-class production capabilities for GE Aerospace.
  • Responsible for creating, deploying, and executing lean principles to manage laboratories and test spaces while ensuring all labs are held accountable to the highest safety industry standards.
  • Must drive collaboration and communication between GE Aerospace Research and EM test facilities to guarantee a consistent and repeatable approach to EM and IR testing for low maturity development systems.

  • Expertise in a broad range of RCS analysis methods, measurements techniques and designs
  • Expertise in a broad range of IR analysis methods, measurements techniques and designs
  • Significant background and experience of RCS scattering phenomenology of engine-related component hardware experience associated with the design, analysis, and testing of RCS models and hardware is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of RCS design & radar range test measurements
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Established project management skills
  • Experience working with DoD customer and processes
  • Experience managing DoD EVM projects
  • Strong track record of ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated leadership and customer interface skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by influence
  • Existing Secret or Top-Secret security clearance with the US Department of Defense.
