Compensation

Salary Range: $45.37 - $62.42 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. Responsibilities

Position Overview: 

Provides psychotherapeutic services and support in an ambulatory care setting. Conducts assessments and diagnoses for psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Makes recommendations and implements appropriate treatment plans, then monitors progress through follow-up sessions and/or regular meetings. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team, consulting with physicians, APPs, nurses, psychiatrists, and medical staff. Assures the delivery of quality treatment to patients by utilizing best practices and standards of care. Provides appropriate coordination of resources, referrals, and support to meet the total needs of the patient.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• Active, unrestricted California Licensed Marriage Family Therapy licensure
• One (1) year of experience providing direct clinical services

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the continuity of patient care planning
• Previous experience with crisis intervention
• Bilingual in Spanish
