Requirements

HUBZone Residency (REQUIRED). Your primary work location and address must be in an area designated as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with statistical methods and programming languages, such as R, Python, or SQL.
Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

Assist in the collection, cleaning, and organization of large datasets from various sources.
Perform data analysis using statistical methods and software tools to uncover trends, correlations, and insights.
Develop data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven decision-making.
Support ongoing projects and initiatives, contributing to the overall data strategy and goals of NexThreat LLC.

Location: NexThreat LLC (Remote and/or On-site)

Duration: 10-12 weeks (with potential for extension)

Position Summary:

NexThreat LLC is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analysis Intern to join our team through the HUBZone Internship Program for Government Contractors. The Data Analysis Intern will engage in data analysis, visualization, and processing, utilizingstate-of-the-art tools and techniques to uncover insights and trends. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in data science, a solid understanding of statistical methods, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and organization of large datasets from various sources.

- Perform data analysis using statistical methods and software tools to uncover trends, correlations, and insights.

- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
