eBay, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in New York, NY
Job Duties: Designs and implements efficient and practical solutions to problems in their domain. Implements extensible and maintainable software systems. Applies understanding of domain knowledge. Takes ownership and is accountable for multiple sub-systems. Translates new feature requests with design options and provides estimations. Actively practices test automation and continuous integration. Proactively identifies issues in design and code and proposes solutions and drives resolution. Responsible for functional area, helping to prioritize changes and identify improvements. Provides full lifecycle of the delivered artifacts, including monitoring and deployment to production. Provides data-driven guidance to Product and other engineering leads on roadmap items. Partial telecommuting is permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.

Base salary: $131,474-176,550 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
