  • Spearheaded 0-to-1 product development for an early-stage platform, encompassing initial discovery, market research, and iterative validation to achieve strong product-market fit, culminating in successful go-to-market strategy and execution.
  • Proven track record of delivering customer-centric, outcome-driven products
  • A strong technical foundation, able to collaborate closely with development teams to execute a shared vision.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic product management, ideally in a cloud-based B2B SaaS environment. Experience in GovTech or emergency technologies is a plus.
  • Strong ability to empathize with users at all organizational levels, from frontline call-takers to supervisors and decision-makers.
  • Skilled in conducting discovery interviews, synthesizing feedback, and identifying new areas of unmet needs that can drive new business opportunities.
  • Expertise in defining customer-centric strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and measurable outcomes, balancing short-term execution with long-term vision, while connecting strategy to organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience managing cross-functional and external stakeholders and leading without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate team success across interrelated product roles with cross-dependencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and guide decisions.
  • Self-starter with a bias for action, comfortable in fast-paced environments and navigating ambiguity.
  • Experience working in a high-tech software development environment.
Responsibilities
  • Drive 0-to-1 product development for early-stage emergency platforms, from initial discovery through go-to-market, with a focus on product-market fit and iterative validation.
  • Blend entrepreneurial thinking with product discipline, identifying strategic opportunities, engaging with users to uncover needs, and shaping the roadmap for scalable impact in a high-stakes environment.
  • Define Strategy: Develop and own the product vision and roadmap pertaining to the area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with Carbyne’s overall mission and strategy, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Customer Discovery: Engage directly with customers, end users, and stakeholders to uncover unmet needs, prioritize challenges, and shape solutions.
  • Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and user data to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with design, engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales teams to ensure alignment, inspire innovation, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Deliver Outcomes: Prioritize measurable customer and business outcomes (e.g., user adoption, retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth) over simply delivering features.
  • Iterate & Optimize: Use data and customer feedback to refine products and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for Value: Ensure every product decision is guided by driving customer impact, while ensuring business viability and technical feasibility.
Desired Qualifications
  • Expertise in VoIP and SIP voice platforms, cloud-native services, legacy 911 technologies, connectivity protocols, PSAP solutions, next-gen call-handling solutions, AI, and machine learning is an advantage.
