The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Quality Control Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by performing quality check and/or packaging of all KCI products/parts for customer sold and internal KCI owned devices as needed to meet schedule attainment for Operations, Marketing, Sales, Study, R&D and Sustaining Engineering teams.
- Execute quality control procedures for all units prior to releasing them to the customer utilizing work instructions and documenting in electronic system and checklist documentation as designated by procedure.
- Support collection of devices, material generated by repair tech process which includes material that will be scrapped in staging designated collection areas.
- Support device battery charge protocol.
- Manage FIFO (First In First Out) devices in seed stock location for daily shipping.
- Perform Quality Check and close all RMA orders in electronic applications ensuring that devices transfer successfully in the system to designated customer.
- Identify units that fail QC (quality check) and route accordingly to technical repair for correction capturing failure in designated electronic application.
- Ensure devices met packaging requirements as designated by procedure.
- Perform preventative maintenance on packaging tools, equipment to ensure equipment, tools extended life.
- Package all types of repaired, refurbished devices as required utilizing Build of Material and or specification documentation.
- Perform accurate quality control actions such as barcode serial number UDI (Unique device identifier) label and RMA verification.
- Anticipate production needs and promptly notify the Supervisor, QC Lead if issues are anticipated.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to include bench and floor clean up.
- Coordinate with part expeditor, TSP, TSDS teams to ensure accurate consistent processing of product.
- Conform to, supports and enforces all company policies and procedures and participates in all reasonable work activities as deemed suitable and assigned by management.
- Adhere to company safety regulations and all requirements of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and notifies supervisor of any safety issues or hazards.
- Process first pass yield devices capturing transaction in designated areas and routes devices to repair technician for correction.
- Support a team-based environment by collaborating with other team members on production goals and projects.
- Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relations
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher AND one (1) year of experience in warehouse, product packaging, manufacturing production environments.
- Experience with MS Office applications including, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Work scheduled shifts.
- Work on call.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $42,715 - $52,208, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
