Electrical Systems Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Savannah River Site! This position is full-time and will be based out of Aiken, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Assess system health of multiple facilities.

• Prepare/review design changes.

• Troubleshoot system equipment.

• Review work packages.

• Support/resolve installation technical issues.

• Assist other related-system engineers (mechanical and chemical) to determine replacements for obsolete systems and parts.

Requirements

• Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.

• Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.

• Must have experience with assessing and reviewing electrical systems.

About the Site

The NNSA's Savannah River Site (SRS), located in Aiken, South Carolina, is responsible for supplying and processing tritium, a radioactive form of hydrogen that is a key component of nuclear weapons. SRS loads tritium and non-tritium reservoirs; processes reservoirs; and recycles, extracts, and enriches tritium; and also plays a key role in NNSA's nonproliferation missions (energy.gov).
