Responsibilities
  • Support and promote the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry.
  • Support and lead the team in accreditation and certification programs.
  • Analyze and report quality data internally and externally.
  • Use analytical data management skills to promote patient safety and performance improvements.
  • Facilitate meetings and multidisciplinary teams, using team facilitation skills and change management processes to engage others in the changes required to achieve performance improvement outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate barriers that impede sustainable change.
  • Demonstrate and teach others the principles of performance improvement.
  • Use quality improvement tools and techniques to evaluate and redesign processes toward improved performance.
  • Access and use resources to demonstrate current and best practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead efforts toward improved outcomes.
  • Advise on future data and information needs and resources to support performance and process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in DNV Hospital Accreditation, other regulatory surveys, and the hospital's survey readiness program.
  • Serve as a partner, teacher, and coach with the assigned customer base.
  • If supporting the Primary Stroke Center Program, serve as the DNV Primary Stroke Center subject matter expert.
  • If supporting the Primary Stroke Center Program, coordinate and facilitate the DNV Primary Stroke Center survey.
  • If supporting the Primary Stroke Center Program, facilitate the Primary Stroke Center committee and drive program performance improvement.
  • If supporting the Primary Stroke Center Program, abstract chart data or validate third-party abstraction and maintain the stroke registry.
  • If supporting the Primary Stroke Center Program, collaborate with education staff or others to provide stroke-related education.
  • If supporting the Primary Stroke Center Program, collaborate with the stroke program medical director for community education.
  • If supporting the Primary Stroke Center Program, maintain nursing competencies as appropriate.
  • If supporting the Hip and Knee Replacement Program, serve as the DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program certification subject matter expert.
  • If supporting the Hip and Knee Replacement Program, coordinate and facilitate the DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Certification survey.
  • If supporting the Hip and Knee Replacement Program, collaborate with the orthopedic nurse navigator to coordinate the Hip and Knee Replacement Program committee.
  • If supporting the Hip and Knee Replacement Program, abstract chart data or validate third-party abstraction and maintain the Hip and Knee Replacement Program registry.
  • If supporting the Hip and Knee Replacement Program, collaborate with education staff or others to provide Hip and Knee Replacement Program-related education.
Desired Qualifications
  • A New Hampshire Registered Nurse license is preferred.
  • Five years of clinical experience are preferred.
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree is strongly preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality certification is preferred, or the candidate should be eligible to obtain it within one year.
