Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, site reliability engineering, and/or cloud architecture and infrastructure
  • Demonstrated a history of building high performing and diverse teams. This includes hiring, mentoring, providing career development opportunities as well as a history of performance management
  • Technical expertise in cloud native technologies, site reliability engineering and building high performance and scalable products and systems. This is not a hands-on role but you will drive the strategy of Site Reliability across the product and engineering organizations with company wide visibility
  • Experience leading database administration/engineering teams within the context of data warehouse design and implementation, data management activities, or database administration
  • A deep understanding of multi-region, high availability architecture is required
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD pipeline including mobile release patterns and tools.
  • Strong understanding of mobile and API testing frameworks, tooling
  • Ability to influence large engineering teams and align around Mobile development and release practices.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of managers and highly-skilled engineers across our SRE, Test Infra, Cloud, Tooling, and Technical Operations teams
  • Work in close partnership with leaders in product, quality and engineering to guide our product and platform engineering teams to build fast, reliable and scalable production systems
  • Drive the Engineering roadmap to scale our products and systems and reduce the operational burden while improving the customer experience
  • Improve technical operations processes and monitoring to address production level incidents quickly.
  • Work with the team to guide the organization on quality metrics, test frameworks, testing strategies and coverage and tooling
  • Mobile Platform and Developer Experience teams. In this role, you will lead a team of talented engineers who are responsible for Greenlight’s end to end Mobile Platform, including CI/CD pipeline, release management, mobile test infrastructure, library and version management.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team to support the recruitment of top talent, and hire, develop and coach a high-performing team of managers and engineers with an emphasis on building diverse and inclusive teams.

Greenlight offers a money management app designed for families, focusing on teaching kids and teens about financial responsibility. The app features a debit card for children, allowing parents to manage allowances linked to chores or direct deposits. It promotes saving by offering up to 5% interest on savings and helps families set financial goals. Additionally, Greenlight provides an investing platform where users can explore stocks and ETFs to grow their wealth over time. The company also has a credit card that gives families up to 3% cash back on purchases, which can be invested for future expenses like college. Unlike many competitors, Greenlight emphasizes financial education and parental control, enabling teens to build credit before adulthood. The goal of Greenlight is to empower families to manage their finances effectively while fostering a strong understanding of saving, investing, and responsible spending.
