Requirements
- BS in a relevant engineering field
- Experience working on robotic systems for government and defense use
- Experience designing, building, testing, and tuning drones
- Solid understanding of electronics and wiring, soldering, and mechanical integration to include 3D printing
- Working knowledge of PX4, Linux, and computer networking
- FAA Part 107 Pilot license
- US Citizen with the ability to hold and maintain a US security clearance
Responsibilities
- Flight testing: fly, capture logs, submit bug reports, and provide feedback on new features
- Assemble and maintain an internal fleet of test assets, and become an expert on robotic systems from our partner OEMs
- Assist with end-user training events and demonstrations
- Electromechanical integration, modification, and prototyping: Mechanical design, 3D printing, soldering, assembly, mounting and wiring of electronic subassemblies
- Become deeply knowledgeable on Auterion hardware and software, including Skynode, PX4, AuterionOS, Auterion Mission Control, and Auterion Suite
