  • RIBO License: We will support you in obtaining your Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) license, a requirement for this role.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven experience in sales, with a strong ability to deliver client-focused solutions and drive business growth.
  • Customer Service Skills: A strong focus on customer service with the ability to deliver positive client experiences.

  • Professional Designations: Currently holding or working towards insurance designations such as CIP, CAIB, etc., is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring client satisfaction by addressing new and existing clients’ needs. This includes handling quotations, premium adjustments, endorsements, and processing online quotes.
  • Primary Contact: Be a key point of contact for accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Negotiate with insurers to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients, demonstrating strong sales skills.
  • Policy Management: Oversee renewals and the processing of policy documents, binders, certificates, and billings.
  • Account Receivables: Ensure timely collection of account receivables.
  • Submissions and Proposals: Prepare and monitor insurance submissions, proposals, and summaries.
  • Claims Advocacy: Advocate for clients during the claims process, engaging with the claims team on critical issues.
  • Business Growth and Retention: Focus on growing your book of business and retaining clients, promoting cross-sell/up-sell opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Professional Development: Build on the foundational skills acquired in the first year, focusing on developing and expanding your own client base.
  • Business Expansion: Utilize your growing expertise to significantly expand your book of business, transitioning towards a fully commissioned role.
