Responsibilities
  • Partner with supported dentists to gain patients’ financial commitment to begin diagnosed treatment.
  • Understand and use financial options to support treatment acceptance, educate patients on treatment choices, and address patient objections.
  • Keep dentists’ schedules productive and support patients in a consultative and educational manner.
  • Achieve proficiency in the PDS system and related tools to help patients make treatment decisions.
  • Execute the Healthcare Coordinator handoff with each clinician for every examination patient.
  • Provide patients with available financial options that fit their budgets.
  • Obtain insurance pre-authorizations before treatment when required.
  • Ensure the offices follow the Comprehensive Care Model and manage referrals outside the office.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings.
  • Understand business imperatives and how the role affects metrics and results.
  • Maintain stewardship of the PDS brand and make decisions consistent with its brand framework.
  • Learn about the Mouth Body Connection and support clinical excellence through comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state, federal, and other regulations.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business is preferred.
