  • This position requires 6 years of related experience to include significant experience working directly with any or all the following preferably in a marketing context:
  • Open Source SW
  • Cloud developers
  • Server Platforms
  • Arm Architecture platforms
  • Cloud Services and Service Provider infrastructures worldwide
  • Deep understanding of the cloud developer ecosystem including common CSP infrastructures, provisioning practices, developer tool chains, and marketing approaches to developers in the cloud-native SW industry
  • 6+ years of experience in working with customers to understand and implement features in a SW or HW product in the Cloud industry. Worldwide exposure to working with customers and partners is a strong plus
  • Clear communication in both written and verbal form. Strongly desire a demonstrated ability to influence and attract audiences via social media and other digital assets
  • Strong background in building, developing and evangelizing complex technical programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work with industry groups or consortiums
  • Demonstrated ability to lead groups, convey a vision, and communicate with the cloud services or serverless developer communities
  • Senior level experience in presenting to both internal executive level audiences as well as external groups
  • Strong ability to manage, plan and present industry events especially developer oriented events both virtual and in person
  • Previous experience in presenting at industry events and communicating messaging to a broad audience
  • BS plus 8 years or MS plus 6 years of experience. A technical or engineering degree is strongly desired. Candidates with other degrees such as business or MBA but with deep experience the tech industry will also be considered
  • Design the marketing plan and strategy to rapidly expand the reach and awareness of Ampere platform value in an easy to consume fashion that fosters interaction with the developers and engages their creativity to develop differently on Ampere
  • Craft and curate collateral for developers across many IT service industry workloads using information from a variety of internal and external sources
  • Assist in directing the team that executes the major components of collateral and outreach programs, providing relevant resources in a crisp and timely manner to a variety of developer audiences
  • Evangelize and present the developer programs with developer communities through live events, media, news outlets and long and short form video assets and all digital platforms web and social
  • Design the presentation of developer assets through a variety of digital mediums to best foster loyalty and encourage contribution through open source participation, community boards, private advocacy and feedback forums
  • Develop novel approaches to engage developers in the unique value presented by the Ampere Cloud-Native computing platform to enable them to build next generation cloud services
  • Lead content strategy and development, digital strategy, event strategy, and guide the online experience of our developer community
  • Set and manage KPIs for the recruitment, retention, contribution and partner expansion of the Ampere Developer Programs
  • Cultivate an influencer community that leads the way and shines the light on the developer benefits, insights and value of developing on Ampere platforms
