Requirements
  • You are collaborative and have the ability to influence and find common ground with cross-functional partners
  • You have a strong pulse on pop culture and the latest social media trends to inform culturally relevant campaigns
  • You are comfortable working in a scrappy environment
  • You are good at balancing strategy & execution. You're able to focus on the details as well thinking about the broader narrative and strategy

  • You are quantitatively and qualitatively savvy. You know how to interpret data and use it to inform your thinking
  • 4-6 years of experience in product marketing, or consumer marketing
  • Having at least 2+ years as a PMM on a consumer product is a plusConsumer marketing background
  • Having experience working in entertainment, media or in the publishing industry is a plusHave a growth mindset and strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Experience working with talent a plus

Responsibilities
  • Develop the positioning, messaging and go to market strategy for our Scribd Originals
  • Shape the product marketing strategy for Scribd Originals by leveraging consumer insights and serving as the key strategic stakeholder between cross-functional partners (Product Management, Content Acquisition, Talent, Social, Editorial, Creative, Paid Media and more
  • Collaborate with Product to influence the roadmap to drive increased discovery and engagement of Scribd Originals
  • Work with the product and design teams to support the merchandising of our Scribd Originals on our owned properties
  • Partner and coordinate with the creative, marketing and analytics to plan & execute, and measure the success of individual campaigns
  • Perform market analysis to develop strategic, insight-driven content acquisition recommendations, by developing a deep understanding of readers and listeners' needs, the competitive landscape and overall industry trends
