Requirements
  • 7+ years; Implementing security principles and administering IT systems
  • 3+ years; Linux operating systems, containers, AWS, monitoring network availability and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability and network security measures.
  • 6+ years; Administering IT systems may substitute for academic degree
  • 1+ years; Provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using tools such as terraform
  • AWS cert. within the first 30 days of start
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for deployments and provisioning on all networks, including containerization, automation and scripting of infrastructure, integration of services, monitoring, of the infrastructure.
  • Develops hardened machine images (e.g. AMI/Azure VM), ensures STIG compliance, and custom services to facilitate security inheritance.
  • Knowledge of Linux, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments.
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • May supervise others.
