- Participate in selling and cross-selling efforts across civil, survey, geotechnical, natural resources, and environmental services.
- Lead the development of project strategy, scope of work, and budget, and lead presentations during client interviews and selection.
- Lead planning, design, and permitting for civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Represent the client and project team at public meetings and hearings as required to support project permits and approvals.
- Present at industry conferences and build professional relationships with permitting authorities.
- Lead safety culture within the project team and follow safety protocols for all projects.
- Track progress against project schedules and budgets and prepare contract adjustments for changes in scope, schedule, or fee.
- Manage project metrics, work in progress, accounts receivable, and risk.
- Supervise and provide work assignments to the project team.
- Prepare, provide technical input, and review technical plans and reports.
- Plan and execute work tasks and oversee team-member tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards.
- Mentor staff in required technical skills.

- Develop comprehensive irrigation plans and specifications, including layout, hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, and construction details, based on project requirements and site conditions.
- Collaborate with design professionals to integrate irrigation designs aesthetically and functionally within the overall landscape plan.
- Conduct site analysis covering existing conditions, soil types, plant water requirements, and microclimates to inform irrigation design decisions.
- Use AutoCAD to create accurate and detailed irrigation drawings and construction documents.
- Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure proper system performance and water-distribution efficiency.
- Select irrigation equipment and technologies based on water conservation, system longevity, and budget constraints.
- Prepare and review proposals and provide technical expertise.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
- Provide on-site support during irrigation system installation to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct system audits and evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments for optimal water use.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Professional Engineer license is preferred.
