Symbria provides integrated post-acute and senior-living care services across the United States, combining rehabilitation, wellness, and pharmacy into one program. Its Symbria Rehab offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy, with centralized training, scheduling, billing, and compliance under a single system. The Power of One model blends therapy, wellness initiatives, and medication management to improve resident outcomes, reduce hospital readmissions, and help facilities grow their census. Led by Jill Krueger and structured as an ESOP, the company aims to be a single strategic partner that streamlines operations and lowers costs for senior-living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Symbria’s September 2026 website shows active expansion messaging and multiple operating locations.
  • Strip packaging, daily dosing, and 24/7 pharmacist access support sticky pharmacy relationships.
  • MySymbria reporting and quality-metrics tools improve clinical operations for operators facing staffing shortages.

What critics are saying

  • Symbria settled the ESOP valuation lawsuit for $5.9 million in 2025.
  • That litigation spotlights governance risk around Jill Krueger-era ownership transfers and valuations.
  • Senior-living operators can insource therapy and pharmacy, cutting Symbria’s bundled revenue by 2027.

What makes Symbria unique

  • Symbria bundles therapy, pharmacy, and well-being under one “Power of One” contract.
  • Employee ownership through the ESOP still anchors retention and founder continuity.
  • Nine-state therapy footprint and eight-state pharmacy network widen switching costs.
