Requirements
  • Associate degree.
  • 3 Years’ Experience.
  • Maintain an active BLS, ACLS, PALS etc.
Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and manages day-to-day operation for the Heart & Valve Clinic.
  • Collaboration begins with referral physicians, cardiologist, or other specialists to navigate the patient and family through the daily coordination of care across physician specialties and the health care team to develop evidence-based arrhythmia management and care.
  • Clinical Coordinator leads and develops staff, which includes RNs, LPNs, MAs, Insurance Coordinators, and Patient Access Coordinators.
  • Perform duties which include daily supervision of human and physical resources to achieve a high standard of patient care.
  • Clinical Coordinator will ensure the Heart & Valve Center meets and/or exceeds state and federal regulatory guidelines. This includes but is not limited to policies, protocols, and technical workflows.
  • Participates in the development of a marketing strategy, screening programs, outreach activities for the Heart & Valve Center, and other opportunities for program development.
  • Serves as a liaison to physicians, staff, patients, director, and members of the community.
  • Manages daily department activities to ensure quality services are provided efficiently and effectively ensures coordination of patient care.
  • Assists in regulation compliance and accreditation process as applicable.
  • Actively involved in the development, execution, and effectiveness of the department’s performance improvement plans.
  • Develops and maintains department policies, procedures, and guidelines in concordance with regulatory requirements and the organizations standards in collaboration with the department director, staff, and physicians.
  • Supports and implements hospital/corporate philosophy, mission, vision, and values.
  • Engage physicians and staff with quality assurance and performance improvement projects.
  • Maintains and reports equipment and supply needs for the Sleep Diagnostic Center including overseeing all equipment operations.
