- Previous experience as a kitchen steward or cleaning experience.
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines.
- Availability to work three to four evenings per week casually when needed.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull incoming orders weighing up to 23 kilograms.
- Australian working rights.
- Clean and sterilise countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks, and cooking equipment.
- Maintain food storage areas such as freezers and refrigerators.
- Receive and organise deliveries to the kitchen.
- Support chefs and other kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including cutting, peeling, and washing.
- Remove kitchen waste and wash dirty dishes.
