Overview:
Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) has an opening in our Building Inspection Department. UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Building Envelope.
As the Blower Door Technician, you will be responsible for working alongside the Building Inspection Department, conducting blower door testing. If you’re reliable, have a good work ethic, and can cooperate with co-workers and clients respectfully, this is the position for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct blower door testing.
- Conduct duct leakage testing.
- Compile data and send client reports based on findings.
- Eloquently communicate with clients and manage schedule.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to load and unload equipment from a truck.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certification for Blower Door
- Previous experience as a Blower Door Technician
- Previous experience working in HVAC.
