Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
  • Six or more years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in fintech, is required.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Java, or Python are required, preferably in more than one language.
  • A solid grounding in financial markets, financial instruments, and basic quantitative methods is required.
  • Hands-on experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems is required.
  • Experience with market data systems and FIX protocol implementations is required.
  • A strong understanding of risk and profit-and-loss attribution is required.
  • Experience with high-performance computing patterns and concurrency is required.
  • Strong debugging, profiling, and performance-tuning skills are required.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Build low-latency, high-reliability trading, risk, and analytics systems for fintech applications.
  • Partner with quants and traders to translate mathematical models into production-quality software meeting performance, accuracy, and operational requirements.
  • Work with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions.
  • Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship of more junior engineers.
  • Ship production-quality software that meets operational requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with derivatives pricing libraries such as QuantLib.
  • Familiarity with kdb+/q or similar columnar tick databases.
  • Exposure to GPU-accelerated pricing or risk computation.
  • Experience with cloud-native fintech architectures.
  • An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
