Responsibilities
- Support a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting the governance process.
- Work closely with the ODNI CDO & CAIO to create data and AI governance policy based on experience and real-world considerations and provide hands-on work dealing with data science and AI models for prototyping, training, inference, and deployment.

- Create and translate trend analyses, and facilitate stakeholder decision-making, policy, and governance pertaining to current and emerging AI technology.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience translating highly technical concepts into policy and governance documents.
- Demonstrate strong data acumen, understanding complex data structures and their application to AI.
- Have in-depth experience with collaborating with various IC Partners on policy and governance.
- Develop and implement data policies and governance structures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Have expertise in one or more of the following subfields, or similar subfield: ethics, policy, or law pertaining to AI, data management, data-mesh, data analytics, data science, data services, and emerging technology.
- Be forward-leaning, recommending necessary improvements to achieve the customer’s vision.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies.
- Experience with Python, R, SQL, Jupyter, MLOps, AI/ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Amazon Q, Azure ML Studio, CoPilot Studio, Google BigQuery, Oracle ML) leveraging cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle, and Google).
- Experience with designing, developing, and implementing AI models.
- Experience with optimizing and deploying AI solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain data and AI policies and governance, ensuring data quality and AI compliance.
- Proven track record in data science and AI systems, transforming raw data and developing AI models into actionable insights through advanced technologies
