Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources or Information Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Human Resources, Computer Science and Business Administration preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provides general administrative support to the HR team, such as maintaining filing systems, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence
  • Provides support and training to users on HRIS (Human Resources Information System) database systems and processes and creates and maintains HRIS system documentation
  • Maintains accurate employee data in the HRIS, prepares reports and ad hoc queries for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users within HR and business
  • Maintains configurable fields, tables, and features supporting HR, payroll, and benefits
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
  • Coordinates training sessions and workshops for employees, including scheduling, logistics, and tracking attendance
  • Assists with payroll processing tasks, such as verifying timekeeping records and addressing payroll inquiries from employees
  • Assists HR managers with various projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee engagement surveys, and policy updates
  • Assists with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings
  • Coordinates the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Assists with compliance efforts related to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as industry-specific regulations related to the insurance sector.
