Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience in community health, sexual health education, benefits navigation, and customer service.
  • Experience working with priority populations such as Queer, Trans, Gender Non-Conforming, and BIPOC communities.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Experience with data entry, service documentation, appointment scheduling, and administrative support.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Experience providing de-escalation and crisis intervention support using a trauma-informed and culturally competent approach.
  • Strong follow-through, problem-solving skills, reliability, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage clients and visitors in person and by phone.
  • Assess client needs, provide accurate information and referrals, and guide clients to appropriate internal programs or external resources.
  • Register clients and check them into appointments as needed.
  • Assist clients in accessing PrEP, nPEP, HIV primary care, and sexual health services by coordinating benefits, providing warm referrals, and supporting medication access within SFAF's scope of care.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe front-of-house environment at Strut.
  • Work with nursing, clinical, housing and financial benefits, and other program teams on referrals and linkage.
  • Coordinate follow-up and co-manage care plans that promote client retention and engagement in services.
  • Support the flow of daily operations, benefits and entitlements access, and organization of shared spaces.
