Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in digital design through HDL and schematic layout
  • Experience using AMD Vitis and related tools
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing mathematics and implementing in synthesizable HDL
  • Experience with benchtop equipment, including Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, and Vector Signal Generator, and their various operating modes
  • Experience with RF signal propagation chain configurations, and scientific analysis software, such as MATLAB
  • Knowledge of RADAR and Electromagnetic Warfare, including EA and Electronic Support (ES) concepts
  • Knowledge of commercial RF and digital component and assembly distributers for rapid prototyping purposes
  • Knowledge of wideband RF signal acquisition and generation concepts, and associated development processes with FPGAs
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering field
Responsibilities
  • help test, design, and develop specific algorithms in Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)
  • evolve them with advanced technology solutions
  • share expertise through leadership and mentoring of a hardware team focused on digital design and algorithm testing with FPGAs
  • work alongside RF or radar modeling and simulation engineers and compare model outputs with corresponding hardware implementations to provide validation of threat representations
