What you will be doing

• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to build a trusted platform for understanding automated flows of funds at Grid
• Acquire a deep understanding of money movement, enabling you to surface meaningful insights, inconsistencies, and opportunities to key stakeholders
• Design, implement and launch innovative data solutions to empower data-driven decisions and reporting at scale
• Ensure organizational access to accurate and complete data sets required for key revenue recognition, cost optimization, accounting, and company reporting processes
• Manage and own data pipelines that unify third-party and internal datasets, in order to expose simple and accurate views of money movement across a number of product lines and partnerships
• Create reporting and data visualizations for executive business meetings and company-wide announcements

About you

• BA degree in Statistics, Analytics, Business, Finance, or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years of experience working with complex datasets to evaluate business and financial performance
• A foundational understanding of accounting principles, practices, and policies
• Are highly skilled at writing SQL to query relational databases, and developing ETL/ELT pipelines
• Knowledge of and experience in applying data analytics, statistics, and data visualization to business problems
• A highly motivated self-starter with boundless curiosity and the drive to figure out how things work
