Requirements
  • Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar degree with experience in hardware field testing.
  • Have flexible work schedule to support activities in other countries/time zones.
  • Strong Excel skills using features like pivot tables, power queries, and other advanced functions.
  • Proven history of collaborating with stakeholders both remotely and in person.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 5+ years’ experience developing, executing, and reporting field test and validation activities.
  • 2+ year with focus on new technology or competitive analysis testing.
  • 2+ years working in a remote environment or environment that required collaboration and communication with stakeholders at different locations and time zones.
  • Proven technical skills related to IoT hardware.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in hardware testing and validation.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with tech evaluation team and other Hardware teams to gain knowledge to understand operation parameters and performance of current, new technology, or competitive hardware.
  • Understand market/competitive spaces, Supply Chain environmental conditions, and hardware technology to accurately develop test plans and analysis.
  • Responsible for collaborating or gaining knowledge to accurately identify requirements/deliverables for development of test plans.
  • Responsible for execution of field test plans in various types of environments. Environments can range from a controlled/lab type of environment, simulated field environment, or actual field environment.
  • Be an effective communicator and leader; to lead internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders on resource and material planning necessary to execute hardware testing and validation.
  • Be able to perform data analysis and communicate both written and verbally insights/results from testing activities.
  • Support the development and improvement of hardware products and features by collaborating and transferring knowledge gained from field testing or other activities.
  • When needed provide assistance with development activities like but not limited to POC, lab testing, or other requests during hardware development phases.
  • For new technology rollout, support hardware troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Keep up to date with latest industry standards and advancements in IoT devices.
